The Food was Outstanding!
The food that was presented at the Katherine Blunt House was the House/Winner for the most donations regarding the Camel 500 event was catered by Saybrook Catering. The food was outstanding, and the presentation was over the top! Those who were at the Katherine Blunt House, and people that stopped by, were raving about the food, and wanted to know who the caterer was!

A Meal Worthy Of A Royal Wedding
Now that we have returned to Virginia and our new married life, We thought we’d take a few minutes to reflect on our marriage on board the Cedar Island yacht June 16 in Clinton, Ct. Everything worked out as planned–even the weather cooperated. Although we did all of our planning via phone and email, we have to say you and your sous chef did a wonderful job in every facet of catering our on-board yacht wedding. From the first day I called you based on a recommendation, you and your staff provided inspiration and guidance on the menu, preparation and delivery. You took our suggestions and provided a meal worthy of a royal wedding. We didn’t have time for a taste test or to meet you in advance,but your professionalism, enthusiasm and knowledge assuaged any concerns. We let the professional do his job! This made the whole process a piece of cake or in your case tender filet and moist halibut. As they say the proof is in in the pudding–well as many of our rather discerning guests said “the food was delicious and cooked perfectly”–which is not easy on a boat. Often the bride and groom barely have time or the stomach to partake of the wedding meal. We both thoroughly enjoyed everything!!!

People Loved the Food!
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how pleased we were with our catering Sunday evening. The food was delicious. The ribs were so tender, just as you’d described. People loved the food and raved about the potatoes. Sabrina was wonderful. She arrived right on time and made everything so easy for me. She is truly the best and a delight to have. I would highly recommend Saybrook Catering Company to anyone looking for a caterer. Chef is a true professional and offers spot-on menu choices for our Polynesian Luau Event. The marinated meat dishes, crispy coconut shrimp, & roasted vegetable skewers were abundant and divine! Our guests are still talking about the special Hawaiian sweet rolls.

From start to finish, Saybrook Catering Company was very easy to work with. Chef was extremely friendly, as was his partner, Alex. After our first meeting with Chef, my husband John. and I knew immediately that we wanted them to cater our wedding. Their easy going vibe made us feel less stressed about picking food for our wedding. Going forward with the menu, Chef included everything that we asked for, including local and organic ingredients. The food was absolutely wonderful, and everyone at the wedding enjoyed a fabulous meal. Chef’s staff was very friendly and on top of things. They were present when needed, but never in the way of guests. Food was brought out in a timely manner, and all guests were happy! Three Years Later and I Am Still Getting Compliments on the Food!
Our wedding was catered by Saybrook Catering Company and three years later I am still getting compliments on the food! Chef sat down on several occasions with my husband and me in order to know exactly what our vision was for our wedding reception and was always available by phone for consultations. He was as interested in our taste preference on each dish as well as our desire on how the food would be displayed.
The staff paid attention to every detail including recalling that I preferred a different salad than my husband, and they created one just for the bride! It was the little details that created the exact atmosphere and quality food we requested. I highly recommend the service and the outstanding food that is created by the Saybrook Catering Company!

Wonderful, Plentiful Delicious Food
Donna and I send our sincere appreciation for the amazing job done by Saybrook Catering at our home this past weekend! We envisioned an evening at home with friends and neighbors where everything was fully attended to…. wonderful, plentiful delicious food that could be enjoyed by all without our having to worry about what comes next or spending our night in the kitchen … instead we enjoyed quality time with our guests. Your servers worked this hungry crowd always with a welcoming smile….and Chef did an amazing job….all of your team so thoughtful, attentive and so very pleasant, while being on the top of their game the entire evening. Our kitchen was left spotless … everything was …honestly, better than we imagined. Saybrook Catering totally delivered the goods for our event of about 60 hungry friends….. and you even found us a delightful bartender! We were able to fully enjoy our evening….your diverse selections whetted every taste…impressed everyone… and made for another fun night along the shore in Old Saybrook.
