The crisp autumn air has officially settled into Connecticut, and you know what that means: it is time to raise your steins and celebrate Oktoberfest! From September 30th through October 4th, we are offering a local Bavarian biergarten style specials. Located right at 72 Railroad Ave in beautiful Chester, CT, we are thrilled to bring a traditional and mouthwatering “Taste of Oktoberfest” straight to your table.

Our culinary team has been hard at work crafting an authentic Oktoberfest menu that pays homage to classic German comfort food. We invite you to start your meal with our traditional appetizers and salads. Dive into our Kartoffelpuffer, which are perfectly crispy German potato pancakes served with a rich, sweet apple butter. If you are looking for something fresh and uniquely flavorful, try the Selleriesalat. This refreshing celeriac salad features celery root, sour cream, onion, and juniper, all delicately plated on a bed of fresh greens.

For the main event, our entrées are sure to warm you up on a cool fall evening. We are featuring a tender, slow-cooked Sauerbraten — a sweet and sour ginger braised beef accompanied by roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a savory natural braising gravy. If you are craving a true Oktoberfest staple, you cannot go wrong with our Weinerschnitzel. This crispy fried veal cutlet is smothered in a rich mushroom gravy and served alongside crispy spetzel and vegetables.

Of course, it would not be a proper Oktoberfest without an exceptional selection of drinks! Our “Festive Libations” menu has a cozy autumn beverage for everyone:

Mulled Red Wine
A warming, spirited take on traditional German Glühwein. Dry red wine gently simmered with fresh orange, cinnamon, star anise, and cloves, sweetened with rich maple syrup, and fortified with a heavy pour of maple bourbon for the ultimate autumn comfort in a glass.

Mulled White Wine
A bright, aromatic twist on hot spiced wine.
Crisp white wine steeped perfectly with fresh lemon, orange, and fragrant cloves, finished with a delicate touch of natural honey for a soothing, floral sip.

Bavarian Coffee
A bold and festive autumn pick-me-up. Hot, freshly brewed coffee spiked with the cool, crisp bite of peppermint schnapps and the deep, roasted sweetness of Kahlua.

Apple Radler
A crisp, robust harvest beer cocktail. Smooth bourbon shaken with sweet apple syrup and a bright squeeze of lemon juice, topped generously with a classic, malty Oktoberfest seasonal brew.
